I've been converting MPG files from my video camera without any problems until today. For some reason, when I try to convert this type of file it'll only convert it into an audio file. What happened? Did I lose a key component? I reloaded the MPEG-2 converter off your web site, updated Quicktime and even downloaded new codecs from Microsoft.

This problem can generally be solved by deactivating incompatible codecs, as explained in this thread.
