Auto FTP Manager 4.32

Auto FTP Manager: General Settings

General Settings

You can change the settings of the application to suit your requirements.  Either:

On the File menu, click on Settings.

OR

In the toolbar, click on the Settings icon.

The Settings dialog displays General, Connection, Transfer Log, Transfer Mode, Mail Settings, and  Proxy Settings tabs.

General:

Startup Settings: Using Startup Settings you can choose what happens as soon as Auto FTP Manager is launched.

  1. Run Auto FTP Manager when Windows starts
  2. On close Minimize Auto FTP manager to system tray.  When this option is selected, clicking the close button at the top of the Auto FTP Manager window does not close the program.  Instead, it minimizes the program so that it appears only as an icon in the System Tray. Double-click the icon to restore the program.  FileExit will still close the program entirely.
  3. Show splash screen on startup
  4. Show Quick Start on application launch

The last two options are checked by default.

Security Settings: The Show passwords option is unchecked by default to ensure that passwords in all the profiles are hidden.  If you check this option, passwords for all profiles will be seen while creating or editing any profile.

Automated Transfer Settings: If you check this option, when you start an Automated Transfer, both folders will be scanned.  The program will then display what actions will be taken and give you a chance to cancel before files are transferred or deleted.  If this is not checked, all operations will begin as soon as the scan is complete.

This option has no effect on Scheduled Transfers.

To reverse all changes made and return to the program's original General Settings, click Use Default.
