Subscribe to our DeskShare News.   My Screen Recorder Pro v2.67           Record Audio             The Record Audio feature of My Screen Recorder Pro lets you record audio from any input source or application running on your PC.  The recording can be saved in Windows Media Audio (WMA) format.  The fact that you can record from any input source on your PC opens new possibilities of recording options.  If you're a big fan of Internet radio and other streaming audio, you probably have realized that there is no easy way to record it.  My Screen Recorder Pro comes to your rescue.  Imagine recording your favorite songs from a popular online radio station, an audio player or just about anything that can be played using your computer’s sound card!           Advantages of recording audio using My Screen Recorder Pro     Recording from a variety of audio sources: Record any audio you can play on your PC irrespective of its source.  Create WMA files from the sound played back from a computer CD drive, movies, games, audio tape player and VCR or DVD player. Streaming Audio: Simply choose the Record from speakers option and record streaming audio playing on applications like RealPlayer, WinAmp, Media Player, QuickTime, Adobe Flash etc.  Create and save files of the desired audio being streamed from a website, online radio, Internet broadcast or any digital music service. On the Tools menu, select Record Audio. 2. On the Welcome Screen of Record Audio Wizard, click Next. 3. Select Record from speakers. 4. Specify the audio device that you want to use for recording audio from the Recording devices box.  Click Next. 5. Run Auto Select to select the best line for speaker recording.  You can also specify the line to be used for speaker recording by using the Let me select the line for speaker recording.         6. Click Next. 7. Select the Record format for recording the audio.  Click Next. 8. Select a folder where you want to save the recording from the Save in dropdown list.  Specify a File name for the WMA file. Click Record to start the audio recording. 9. You can use the Pause button to pause the recording.  When you have finished recording audio, click Stop.  Click Next 10. Click Finish to exit the wizard.           Whatever the source of the audio you want to record, if it plays on your PC, My Screen Recorder Pro lets you save it as an audio file, by just recording it as it plays from your PC speakers.
