To play videos on a standard DVD player, you must convert the file to MPEG 2. After conversion, you can use your DVD burning software to make a Video DVD disk. Make sure that you consider the following:
1. Use Digital Media Converter to convert the video to MPEG-2 (NTSC) or MPEG-2 (PAL) depending on your country's picture standard. For U.S., it is NTSC and for Europe and Asia, the standard is PAL.
2. In your DVD burning software, select the correct region code to burn the MPEG-2 video on the DVD disk.
The region code of the DVD Player, DVD Disk and DVD Video should match if you want to play the DVD on a standard DVD player.
