Record Audio
The Record Audio feature of My Screen Recorder Pro lets you record audio from any input source or application running on your PC. The recording can be saved in Windows Media Audio (WMA) format. The fact that you can record from any input source on your PC opens new possibilities of recording options. If you're a big fan of Internet radio and other streaming audio, you probably have realized that there is no easy way to record it. My Screen Recorder Pro comes to your rescue. Imagine recording your favorite songs from a popular online radio station, an audio player or just about anything that can be played using your computer’s sound card!

Recording from a variety of audio sources: Record any audio you can play on your PC irrespective of its source. Create WMA files from the sound played back from a computer CD drive, movies, games, audio tape player and VCR or DVD player.

My Screen Recorder Pro is a screen and audio recording program. It is commonly used to make video recordings of screen activities, but the option to record only audio can be very useful. The following procedure describes how to record audio from any source on your PC:

On the Tools menu, select Record Audio.

On the Welcome Screen of Record Audio Wizard, click Next.

Select Record from speakers.

Specify the audio device that you want to use for recording audio from the Recording devices box. Click Next.

Run Auto Select to select the best line for speaker recording. You can also specify the line to be used for speaker recording by using the Let me select the line for speaker recording.

Click Next.

Select the Record format for recording the audio. Click Next.

Select a folder where you want to save the recording from the Save in dropdown list. Specify a File name for the WMA file. Click Record to start the audio recording.

You can use the Pause button to pause the recording. When you have finished recording audio, click Stop. Click Next

Click Finish to exit the wizard.
Whatever the source of the audio you want to record, if it plays on your PC, My Screen Recorder Pro lets you save it as an audio file, by just recording it as it plays from your PC speakers.
