WebCam Monitor 6.28

Configuring Sound Alarm

The Sound Alarm alert plays an audio file repeatedly.  The Sound Alarm Alert can be used to test your Motion and Noise settings.  The Sound Alarm can also be used to ward off potential intruders from your property.  You can position your webcam towards a vulnerable area and monitor for noise and motion.  If an attempt to breach the region being monitored is made, WebCam monitor's sound alarm alert would be triggered and a music file (you can use a siren or your favorite song) of your choice would be played.

To configure the Sound Alarm:

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options
  2. Select the Alerts tab
  3. Under Sound Alarm, click Configure

Set Audio File

Duration

The duration is the amount of time that this alert will run.  The specified sound file is repeatedly played for this duration.
