When I used DVD Author Plus to burn videos to a dvd it worked fine except that videos that were originally in widescreen were burned in the tv full-screen format. When I say "full-screen" I mean that the top, bottom, and sides of the image were cropped. Should I have clicked the "wide-screen" option? I have an RCA F25432 standard tv I'm trying to watch this on. The dvd I burned plays fine on my dvd player.

Thanks for your help.

DVD Author Plus can reformat your videos to fit on a standard TV screen, also known as 4:3, or on a widescreen, also known as 16:9

Choosing the wrong type will cause your video to be either cropped or stretched. When creating your video DVD, choose either Standard 4:3 or Widescreen 16:9 from the options in Step 2. If you choose widescreen, make sure to use widescreen aspect ratio source material.
