Does broadcasting use bandwidth if no one is viewing it?

Hi,

I am interested in your Security Monitor Pro. Can I use my Android phone to view the cameras remotely? Also if the broadcast mode is on and no one is viewing is it still transmitting over the internet?

Yes, you can use the Android phone to view the broadcast from Security Monitor Pro. You will need a media player app. ArcMedia and YxPlayer are two popular free apps that will view the broadcast stream.

When you turn on broadcasting there is no data transfer until a player connects to the broadcast from Security Monitor Pro.
