I would like to post my screen capture video on YouTube. After viewing the uploaded video it is too blurry to make out any detail. I made the option to watch in 1080 but it still did not help. Should I record in a smaller format to match what YouTube is compressing my video to??
I am using a large screen for the capture but can use a laptop if neccessary. Please advise me on the correct settings to publish screen capture to YouTube with a clear playback.
thanks

I suggest recording your screen as either 800x600 or 1024x768. These resolutions should fit when played back on a YouTube video. We have an article that has some tips on
creating good screen recordings
.
If you are still having a problem with YouTube, you can try Video Desk. On Video Desk you can host your screen recordings without resizing or any advertising being added.
