After a long time of working very well, I cannot burn DVDs to an empty disc. The error I receive is that there is not enough free space. The capacity of my DVD disks is high enough(4.3GB) and my file is only 1GB.

Can you please explain the matter and I can correct what is going wrong?

Thank you in advance!

DVD Author Plus will burn both data and video DVD's.

If you are recording a video DVD, try changing the recording quality to SLP or LP (long play). For a data DVD, burning 1GB onto a 4.3GB blank should work. If you are having trouble, I suggest getting the latest firmware for your DVD drive so it can write to the newer DVD disc brands.
