Dictation Pro is doing a good job of recognizing dictated speech -- including some technical words as well. But it will not recognize commands, such as "New paragraph" or "Correct that".

There appears to be no way to train Dictation Pro to recognize commands. Speaking the commands repeatedly just causes them to appear as dictated text.

Are there any suggestions as to how I could get it to recognize commands? (I speak standard American English as my native language, no regional accent, and I articulate clearly.)

Dictation Pro supports commands - no training is required. To use a command, please press and hold the control key before you say the command. If you don't press the control key, Dictation Pro will convert your speech to text and not know you are trying to use a formatting command.

For example, to insert a line break and a paragraph at any point in your document, hold control and use the voice commands 'New Line' and 'New Paragraph'.
