Trying to fit a 4.3 GB movie on a DVD disc

I am trying to put a 4.3gb video onto a 4.7gb disc. I do not want to cut the video want to keep it "whole". I keep getting a message saying there isn't enough space to fit on the disc. I have checked, and there is 4.7GB available. Please help!

The size of the movie on a Video DVD is determined by the number of minutes it runs for. The default setting in DVD Author Plus is Good Quality (1 hour 30 minutes of video).

If you are burning a video DVD and your movie does not fit, set the quality level in DVD Author Plus to either Standard Play (2 hours of video) or Standard Long Play (2 hours 30 minutes of video).
