I've got a scene I want to copy, I've selected the scene, clicked copy, but when I paste it, it pastes it right onto the same file I copied it out of. That's not what I wanna do, I want it to become a seperate file.

The timeline is used to compose videos on the fly from multiple video, audio, image, effect and transition clips.
After adding your file to the timeline, you can use Video Edit Magic's Selection Sliders to mark a portion of the timeline. Now, Make Movie will create a movie of only that section of the timeline that is in between the selection sliders.
