MOV to WMV conversion: Aspect Ratio

When converting a MOV to WMV the aspect ratio changes. I have tried all of the suggestion in this forum. the original is 1280x70 (according to the Video properties on the converter screen) and the WMV is 640x480) according to the setup screen. This causes the picture to be too high. What to do??

When you are converting to Windows Media Video (WMV) format, and your original movie has an aspect ratio that is not 4:3, select one of the profiles that lets you choose the dimensions of the final movie. For instance, under "For Desktop Viewing", the "High Quality Video (CBR)" profile lets you keep the aspect ratio and dimensions of the original movie.
