Getting Started

The previous section briefly explained the Auto Movie Creator workspace.  This section explains how to prepare Auto Movie Creator for editing.

A project must be carefully planned by first selecting the media files that will appear in your final product, and then sketching out the finished media file and how different visual and audio elements would be combined to create it.

After the initial planning, editing usually involves three major steps:

  1. Opening files in the Videos and Photos Collection and Music Collection so that they are available for editing, and creating clips from video files.
  2. Adding video clips and other media files in the Storyboard and working with effects, transitions and sound elements.
  3. Creating your finished movie using Export.
