Understanding the Workspace
Auto Movie Creator's workspace mainly consists of three parts: the Preview, the Collection and the Storyboard.
Above these are the two toolbars: one for the general editing functions and the other presenting the steps of movie creation in sequence.
Below the toolbars is the Assistant Director. It appears by default but you can hide it by unchecking the Assistant Director option from the Tools menu.
You can adjust the width of the Preview and Collection areas by dragging the divider between them with the mouse. Increasing the width of one decreases the width of the other. The size of the Storyboard cannot be changed.
When you start Auto Movie Creator, the Video and Photos Collection is open. You can switch to the Effects, Transitions, Titles and Credits and Music Collection by clicking on the appropriate button on the Auto Movie toolbar.
