Preview Window
The Preview Window is directly related to the Timeline and displays the video/audio contents represented on the Timeline. The Seek Slider in the Timeline is used to position the preview to any position on the timeline. The preview is used to see how your movie is shaping up, on-the-fly.
The Preview Window is divided into these elements:
Preview
This is where the preview of the timeline is actually displayed. The size of the window is set by selecting the project dimensions when creating a new project.
You can also preview the timeline in full screen. Select Full Screen Preview from the Tools menu or press Ctrl+Q to switch to full screen mode. To switch back to normal mode press Alt+Tab.
Preview Controls
The preview controls enable you to Play, Stop, Pause, Forward and Rewind the preview. These controls behave like the controls in any media player.
Preview Volume
Volume of the preview can be changed by clicking the volume button. Change the volume from the drop down that appears.
Preview Display
The preview window also displays the current slider position in the timeline and the duration of the timeline. The preview display on the bottom left corner of the preview window displays the current slider position and the preview on the bottom right corner of the preview window displays the timeline duration. The time for both the displays is expressed in "Hours:Minutes:Seconds:Milliseconds".
Seek Bar
The Seek Bar is used to seek the preview to any position. In addition to the Seek Slider in the timeline, the seek bar in the preview can also be used.
