Stamping Recordings

You can stamp your screen recordings with the time of recording, elapsed duration and a text option.

To stamp recordings, follow these steps:

  1. On the Tools menu, select Settings and click the Effects tab.
  2. Click Annotation Stamp button.
  3. To enable date/time stamping, check the Enable Time Stamp box.
  4. Check the Date/Time box to stamp the recording time.  Check Elapsed time box if want to stamp elapsed recording time.  Click the Display Options button to chose the Style, Position, Font, Text Color etc. Click Ok.
  5. You have the option to Show Time Stamp for entire duration or Show Time Stamp for a specified number of seconds.
  6. Select a Date/Time format from options listed in the dropdown list.
  7. To Place Caption on screen recording check Enable Caption Display box.  Type the caption you want to appear on the recordings in the blank below.
  8. Click Display Options button to chose the Style, Position, Font, Text Color etc.
  9. You can Show Caption for entire duration or Show Caption for specified number of seconds.  Click OK

You can enable or disable the stamping option while recording is going on.
