The Launch Program alert lets you extend WebCam Monitor to a specific requirement. If you want to run a program or a script when WebCam Monitor detects motion or noise then configure this alert to launch the program. You can also send parameters to the program that you want to launch.

Under Run Alerts on the QuickSettings pane, make sure that When motion noise is detected option is selected. Select this option if not already selected.
Under Which Alerts do you want to run? Check the Launch Program option.
Click Configure to open up the settings window.

After this alert is selected and configured, you can start monitoring. Depending on the configuration, when motion or noise is detected, WebCam Monitor will launch the program.

Configuring the Alert

In the Specify Program box, enter the entire path and name of the program, script or batch file. To select the file, click Browse. To send command line parameters to the program, specify them in the ParametersfortheProgram box. In the Start in folder box, specify the name of the folder that you want to set as the program's application folder. To select a Start in folder, click Browse.
