Changing TV Tuner Card and Video Crossbar Properties

TV Tuner Card

A TV Tuner card is a computer component that allows television signals to be received by a computer.  Most TV tuners also function as video capture cards, allowing them to record television programs onto a hard drive.

If a TV tuner is installed on your computer, it appears in the Video Device list in WebCam Monitor.  If you select it from this list, you can watch any of your favorite channels in the Device Preview window.  You can also schedule automatic recording of the input from a TV tuner card.  Go to Tools >> TV Tuner Properties to adjust TV Tuner settings.  Programs can also be broadcast for remote viewing.

Crossbar

A crossbar is used for video and audio routing.  If you have any difficulty with the video or audio preview from a TV Tuner card, you can click on Tools >> Video Crossbar Properties and configure the settings.
