Email Responder: The Toolbar

Email Responder: The Toolbar

At the top of the Email Responder window is a toolbar that gives you quick access to the most commonly used commands.

Main Tool Bar

  • The Login button lets you connect to the server.  You must be logged into a server in order to use Email Responder.   After you log in, the Login button changes to Log Off: .
  • New creates a new email message.
  • Reply creates a reply to the currently selected message, addressed to the sender of that message.
  • Reply To All creates a reply to the currently selected message, addressed to the sender of that message, and with a copy sent to everyone listed on the To and CC lists for that message.
  • Forward lets you send a copy of the selected message to someone else using email.
  • Follow Up instructs Email Responder to open a follow up notification about a message at a set time and date.
  • Delete removes the selected message from the list.
  • Block Sender adds the sender of the selected message to the Blocked Senders list.  If you confirm this decision, no more mail from this address will appear in the Message List.  You can edit the Blocked Senders list from the program Settings.
  • Assign To assigns the message to a person or group to process.
  • Find opens the find window to locate a particular message by searching for text in the From, To, or Subject lines.
  • Filters turns on filtering in the Message List.
  • Refresh connects to the Email Responder Manager and updates the Message List to reflect both newly-arrived messages and any changes made by other users.
  • Print opens the Print window, from which you can print the current message.
  • Settings lets you change the program settings.
  • Help opens the program's User Guide.
